Marissa Angelina Wendt
Always a go-getter, Marissa expressed a keen desire to perform since the age of 4 taking an never ending mix of lessons including acting, singing, guitar and dance.
Throughout grade school, she sang at talent shows and participated in musicals & loved her role as JoJo in her school production of "Seussical the Musical.”
Marissa has appeared in multiple commercials including two national spots for Milk Life and Verizon Wireless.
Marissa started baking in 2011 and started her own show on YouTube called SugarNomsTV where she shared baking recipes and techniques. As a result, Marissa learned skills in content creation, video production, editing, and running a YouTube channel. While hosting Sugar Noms, she was invited to share her baked goodies with Janelle So on LA’s "Kababyan Today" and dined in Hell's Kitchen after meeting Chef Gordon Ramsay. In 2013, she won first place in Chef Zov's Orange County Kid’s Chef Search with her own Strawberry Lemonade Meringue Pie recipe.
Marissa loves recording in the studio. In 2013 she released her first single, an original song she helped co-write called "The Sun Shines in Heaven", a Sandy Hook tribute song. In the summer of 2014 she did a live studio recording of her favorite Corinne Bailey Rae song "Trouble Sleeping.” And most recently in the summer of 2016, Marissa co-wrote and released another original song called Soarin’.
Taking a stab at student council leadership, Marissa was voted in as Secretary in 6th grade, and after joining OCSA (Orange County School of the Arts, Integrated Arts Conservatory) was elected co-Middle School Representative in the 8th grade. Now in the 9th grade, she enjoys spending time with her friends, family or producing videos for her YouTube channel, "MarissaAngelina." Marissa is building on a new experience as an online entrepreneur having launched SkyfluxStore.com where she sells her self-created "Instant Picture Hanging Kit" for Polaroids and her t-shirt designs.
